Become a Volunteer

Become a Board member – The Board usually meets 6 to 10 times a year on the 3rd Monday of the month at 6:30pm.  We try to keep the meetings to 1 hour by having most of the work occur at committee meetings.  While new board members are elected at our Annual Meeting in July, there are usually openings available throughout the year.

Join a Committee – This is where the work gets done.  You don’t have to be a Board member to join a committee.  If one of them interests you, send us an email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and the committee chair will get in touch with you.

Think Local First – This community promotes Wilton and especially Wilton businesses by encouraging residents to shop locally.  Community members attend many Wilton events, for example, having a table at the Blueberry Festival and Town Meeting.

Presentations – The committee plans and puts on presentations of interest to the community. Examples include the annual Meet and Greet for town selectmen candidates, updates with our State legislators, and police chief.  The committee also puts programs of interest to businesses, such as web design.
