On Wednesday, May 21st, 2014, The Wilton Group will present its Annual Meet and Greet for Town Selectmen candidates.  The Meet and Greet will be at Calzolaio's Pasta Company.

The Meet and Greet will be from 7:00pm to 8:30pm with refreshments and a cash bar available from 6:30pm-7:00.pm.

This will give you an opportunity to meet the candidates and ask them your questions about Wilton.

On Monday, May 5th, at Calzolaio Pasta Co. in Wilton , The Wilton Group will host three different presentations from 7:00-8:30 with refreshments and a cash bar available from 6:30-7:00.

Ray Jacques, board chair of The Wilton Group, will speak about The Wilton Group’s new website and how it will help businesses and community organizations in Wilton.

Rhonda Irish, Town Manager, and the Downtown Planning Committee will update residents on the Community Service Programs developed to assist owners of properties in the Downtown Village, Commercial, and Residential 1 zoning areas.  They will also give an update on progress that has been made on specific properties.

The final presentation will be made by Angela McLeod.  She will share with residents about the new Children’s Museum coming to Wilton which will be housed in the York House on Main Street. Room designs have already been started and she will tell you about renovation plans for the York House.

All three presentations will give residents an idea as to how they can support a future direction in Wilton.

Pardon our appearance while we change to this new website.  It is still a work in progress at this time.  Among other things, when it is fully operational, it will have a free Calendar where all community events can be posted.  It also will have a free searchable directory for community organizations and businesses.

Businesses can buy rotating ads(at the bottom of the page)  to encourage Wilton residents to shop locally.

When we confirm that PayPal is operational, you can use PayPal to become a member and supporter of the group and pay for an ad..

From the old website, we have transferred and combined the business directory and community resources into one Directory.

For both groups, the goal is to have a "yellow pages" for Wilton.

Check out the Directory tab at the top left.  Since it still is a work in progress, if you don't find your business or organization listed there, use the Contact Us tab to send an email with your contact information.  One of us will get in touch with you to get complete information to add it to the directory.

For now, use the tab at the top left of the page only to access the Directory.
